How Maestro Media processes personal data on this website. We collect as little as possible, and nothing for marketing without consent.

What data we process
- Enquiries. If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process your name, email and what you write, in order to reply and follow up. The enquiry is delivered to us by email (via Resend) and recorded as a contact in our customer system (HubSpot CRM).
- Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used.
- Marketing. With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure and tailor ads.
- Questions to kAI. Questions you ask the kAI assistant, and the answers, are stored with us to improve the service and monitor usage. Questions are not tied to your name or email — please avoid including personal data in your question.
- Blog views. We count aggregate page views per blog post. These are anonymous counters with no cookies or personal data.
Cookies and consent
Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default. We use Google Consent Mode, so no analytics or marketing services load before you have consented. In the consent banner you choose per category (statistics and marketing separately), and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Change consent” link at the bottom of the page. We log consent decisions (time, choices and the version of the banner and this policy, tied to a random id — not to your name or email) as documentation that consent was given. Necessary functional cookies (so the site works) are set regardless of consent.

Third parties
Enquiries you send via the contact form are processed by Resend (email delivery) and HubSpot (customer system/CRM) on our behalf. With consent, data is shared with Google (Analytics/Tag Manager), Meta (Facebook Pixel) and LinkedIn (Insight Tag). Blog views and the consent log are stored with Supabase. All process data on our behalf under their own data processing agreements. Google, Meta, Microsoft and HubSpot may process data in the United States; the transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Social media
Maestro Media is present on LinkedIn, Facebook and Vimeo, and links to these profiles from the website. If you click through to one of the platforms, or follow and interact with us there, this happens under the platform’s own privacy terms, and the platform is itself the controller of the data it processes about you. Our use of the Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag for marketing is described above and requires consent.
Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to follow up on the conversation and any customer relationship. Analytics and marketing data are kept according to the services’ standard retention periods.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and data portability, and you can object to or request restriction of processing. Contact us at kontakt@maestromedia.no. You can also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
